Returns Instruction

To return your online purchase by mail:

  1. Call or email Excelta to notify us of your return request in order to receive an RMA#.
  2. Pack your return in the original shipping package, include any original packing materials.
  3. Include the packing slip and /or Invoice copy.  Write your RMA# and return address information on your paperwork, and indicate the reason for the return.
  4. Include all original packing materials, manuals and accessories.

Return & Exchange Period

The original packing slip is required for all returns and exchanges.

30 Days for all products  (30 days from Invoice Date)

Important Note: Excelta must be notified within 3 days of receipt of shipment of any errors or shortages in shipment. If notification is not made correctly and an RMA# subsequently issued, Excelta will not assume liability for errors in shipment.

Excelta reserves the right to deny any return or exchange.

Non-Returnable Items

Some items cannot be returned, including:

  • Labor, delivery
  • Items that are damaged or abused
  • Items that are missing accessories such as remote controls, cords and cables
  • Etched or otherwise personalized items
  • Shipping charges
  • Out of warranty items
  • Discontinued items

Conditions

  • Items must be returned in original packing and are subject to inspection
  • We are not responsible for items damaged by improper use
  • Excelta is not responsible for packages lost in transit and we recommend insuring all packages.

Any deviation from the return process outlined above may result in delay or refusal of your refund or a possible restocking fee at our discretion.

Refund Method

Refunds will be credited to the original credit card or PayPal account.   Shipping charges will be deducted as applicable.

Promotional Items

When returning an item with a free gift promotion, you must also return the free gift. If you don't, the refund amount will be reduced to reflect the value of the free gift.

Returns Tracking

Based on return/exchange patterns, some customers will be warned that subsequent purchases will not be eligible for returns or exchanges for 90 days. Customers who are warned or have been denied an exchange/return may request a copy of their Return Activity Report by mail at 60 Easy Street, Buellton, CA 93427 USA. Please be prepared to provide your transaction ID, ID number, full name, address and phone number.

Shipping Charges Policy

We offer multiple shipping options to customers in the United States, UPS Ground and UPS 3-Day, UPS 2-Day and UPS Next Day Air. For international customers, we offer UPS Expedited or EMS “Express Mail”. All International orders will have insurance added to the cost of shipping. You will be notified of your shipping charge before confirming your order. Next day air shipments must be placed by 2:00 P.M. Pacific Time.

Warranty / Guarantee

All genuine Excelta parts are 100% guaranteed against manufacturing defects for normal usage. Assembly tools are perishable and will wear out. No warranty is implied for misused or abused products. Excelta must evaluate all claims of defective tools prior to the authorization of repair, replacement or credit. To return a tool for repair or replacement under warranty, contact sales@excelta.com and you will be issued an RMA number to write on the box with the returned parts.

Disclaimers

The remedies are exclusive and there are no other warranties, whether oral or written, expressed or implied with respect to products sold hereunder, whether as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or any other matter.

Excelta will not under any circumstances, whether as a breach of contract, breach of warranty, tort or otherwise, be liable for consequential, incidental, special, or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, loss of profits, revenues, loss of use or damage to any associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of substitute products, facilities or services, downtime costs, rework costs, or claims of customers.

Excelta’s liability on any claim of any kind for any loss or damage arising out of, resulting from products furnished hereunder, will be limited to replacing the defective tool, or crediting the tool purchase price.

Excelta will not be subjected to any liability, whether in contract, warranty, tort or otherwise, on any claim for loss or damage concerning products, parts, advice, assistance or service which Excelta furnished to customer at no charge as a business courtesy.

The warranties and remedies set forth above do not apply to products which have been misused, inadequately maintained, or stored.
