On the Tweezer Front

15A-GW BlackThe 15A series of cutting tweezers have most always been made of carbon steel for strength.  Because carbon steel is prone to rust, these cutting tweezers have always come packaged in a greasy oil and wrapped in wax paper.  If you've ever unwrapped one you know how messy it can be.

All that's about to change.  All of our 3 star 15A cutting tweezers will soon be epoxy coated to prevent rust.  This eliminates that messy wax paper.  Last month we began to ship out the new model epoxy coated 15A-GW.  As we purge our inventory on the other 15A styles, they will be replaced with this new epoxy coated version.  The part numbers will not change.

TM-200

Please check your web site and catalog offerings.  Make sure they have the new TM-200, Intellitweeze™ listed.  Excelta no longer offers the ST-1, Smart Tweezer.  This old part number should not be advertised in your catalogues or web sites.

The new and improved IntelliTweeze™,  part number TM-200, is alive and well and going strong.  The upgrades are as follows:

            -better accuracy

            -field replaceable tips

            -now checks polarity of diodes

-has a 'hold' feature that allows the unit to continue to display the reading even after the component has been released.

-shuts off in any mode except voltage and will return to the same exact place when turned back on.

Please double check and make sure your web sites have been updated.
